Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to UploadToLink, including uploading files, creating share links, managing shares, and using related features.

Last updated: June 5, 2026

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing UploadToLink or uploading content, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies referenced on the site, including the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy where applicable.

UploadToLink may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Your content and permissions

You are responsible for all files, text, links, and other content you upload, share, replace, or otherwise make available through the service.

You represent that you own the content or have all rights, licenses, permissions, and consents needed to upload and share it.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, process, display, transmit, cache, and distribute your content as needed to operate the service, deliver share pages, enforce security settings, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

If you delete content, it expires, or it is removed under these terms, we will stop intentionally serving it from active share links, subject to technical limitations such as caches, backups, logs, and copies previously accessed or saved by others.

Prohibited content and conduct

You may not upload, link to, or distribute content that is illegal, exploitative, abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, hateful, violent, deceptive, malware-related, privacy-invasive, or otherwise harmful to people, systems, or the service.

You may not upload content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any person or organization.

You may not use the service for spam, phishing, credential theft, malware delivery, automated abuse, excessive scraping, denial-of-service activity, or other behavior that interferes with the service or other users.

  • Executable files or archives intended to deliver malware
  • Illegal content or unauthorized copyrighted material
  • Content that violates applicable law or third-party rights
  • Attempts to bypass security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions

Public links and third-party use

Files and text shared through UploadToLink are intended to be accessible through generated share URLs. Anyone with a share page URL or direct access link may be able to view, download, copy, embed, or further distribute the linked content, subject to any password, expiry, download limit, or burn-after-read settings you apply.

You are responsible for where and how you share links. Do not upload sensitive, confidential, or private content unless you are comfortable making it available under the security settings you choose.

When embedding or referencing hosted content on third-party websites, you are responsible for complying with the rules, laws, and policies that apply to those websites and audiences.

Accounts, guest uploads, and limits

1. Guest and signed-in use

Some features are available without signing in. Guest uploads are subject to file-size limits, automatic expiry, IP-based or session-based rate limits, and browser-session controls that may not be recoverable if you lose the session used to create them.

If you sign in, your shares can be associated with your account and managed from the dashboard. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your identity provider credentials secure.

2. Operational limits

  • Guest uploads: up to 3 MB per file, links expire within 24 hours, and a daily upload quota applies
  • Signed-in uploads: up to 100 MB per file and longer retention options where supported
  • Text shares: up to 1 MB of text content
  • We may change limits, introduce paid plans, or adjust supported file types as the service evolves

3. Security settings

You may configure password protection, expiry, download limits, and burn-after-read on eligible shares. You are responsible for communicating passwords and access rules to intended recipients and for understanding that misconfigured or overly open settings can expose your content.

Removal, reports, and enforcement

We may review reports of illegal content, abuse, copyright infringement, privacy violations, security threats, or other policy violations.

We may remove content, disable links, restrict accounts or IP addresses, preserve relevant operational records, cooperate with lawful requests, or take other action when we believe it is necessary to protect users, rights holders, the public, infrastructure, or the service.

We are not obligated to monitor all content, and the presence of content on the service does not mean we endorse, verify, or accept responsibility for that content.

Copyright and rights complaints

If you believe content hosted through the service infringes your rights, send a notice identifying the work, the URL or other information needed to locate the content, your contact information, and a statement explaining why you believe the use is unauthorized.

You should only submit copyright or rights complaints that are accurate and made in good faith. Misrepresentations may create legal liability.

Paid plans and billing

1. Purchases

Some membership or visibility plans may require payment. Pricing, plan scope, and billing terms are shown at the point of purchase when available.

Payments may be processed through third-party providers such as Stripe or Creem.

2. Renewals and cancellations

Where recurring billing applies, you authorize us or our payment providers to charge the selected payment method according to the active plan until cancellation or termination.

Refund handling is governed by our Refund Policy and any purchase-specific terms shown at checkout.

Service availability and disclaimers

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, error-free delivery, specific performance, or continued availability of any file or link.

You should keep your own copies of important files. UploadToLink is a sharing utility, not a backup, archival, or disaster recovery service.

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or perfect accuracy
  • Third-party websites, tools, and services linked from the site remain the responsibility of their operators
  • Business or legal decisions made using shared content remain your own responsibility

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UploadToLink and its suppliers, partners, or licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum extent allowed by applicable law.

Indemnity and termination

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of third-party rights.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access at any time if we believe your use violates these terms, creates risk, or harms the service or others.

General terms

1. Changes

We may update the service or these terms from time to time. Continued use after updated terms are published means you accept the revised version.

2. Entire agreement

These terms, together with referenced policies and purchase-specific conditions, form the agreement between you and us regarding use of the service.

3. Severability

If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent possible.
